Garrett Shost

I am a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Agricultural and Applied Economics. My research focuses on conservation and land use, with additional work in urban transportation and safety. My job market paper quantifies how conservation easements affect housing prices and development. I will be joining the University of Texas – Arlington in August, 2026 as an Assistant Professor.
